Slurred speech is characteristic aura symptom of a rare migraine type, known as basilar migraine.
You may have one or more additional symptoms like dizziness, ear ringing, hypersensitivity to sounds, double vision, bilateral visual symptoms, unsteadiness, decreased level of consciousness, simultaneously bilateral paraesthesias (pins and needles sensations on both sides of body).
This is followed by severe headache.

It is important to be evaluated by neurologist specialized in diagnosing and treating migraines, since this type of migraine can be confused with other more serious brain conditions.

See neurologist!
