Hcg levels early pregnancy

Ok so today i am 11 days past ovulation and I got 2 + Hpt and I went for a blood test today and hcg was 28. Dr said that was borderline positive and I need to go back on Wednesday for another?? Is that bad for this far in my cycle??

not at all...at least I do not think. You are 11 days past ovulation, which means that your little one just barely implanted itself into your uterus, thus hormones are just beginning to seep. Your Dr. might want you to come back to make sure it is a positive, when there are more hormones in your bloodstream.

HCG is detectable in the blood serum of approximately 5% of pregnant women by 8 days after conception, and in virtually all the rest by 11 days. HCG rises progressively from conception. Levels double on the average, every 30.9 hours until values reach 6500 mIU/ml (6,500 IU/L) at approximately the eighth week after the last menstrual period (LMP). After that the rate of rise becomes individualized, peaking between the 60th and 70th day (9 to 10 weeks) LMP. HCG decreases slightly between the 12th and 16th week post LMP, and then remains constant until birth.

about hcg
09/02/09 my hcg level was 5112.1 , and i pass my period 11 days , and mu doc. said , you are positive, how is it ok the level of hcg this time

hcg levels
i went to get my blood work done yesterday and my hcg levels were at 11962 at 28 days past ovulation...is this high or is it just me. I've been quadrupling every 2 days.
