Hello, for the past 2 years I have been sleeping in my recliner due to sleep apnea. Its been great for my rest but now when I sleep in a bed I wake up to the worst back pain I have ever experienced. I don't immediately feel the pain until I stand up. I can usually work out 50% of the pain and go on but then I get to work and sit in my office chair for an hour and can barely stand or walk. I keep sleeping in the bed hoping it will work itself out but no luck. Any explanation or suggestions? Thanks

Three years ago we purchased three of the large electric recliner chairs that raise you up in the air...These were gotten for various rooms in the house to help with sore knees...I have often wondered if any of the many adjustments could have a negative affect on my back pain...Seeing I have no knee caps this does not help me...I, too, sleep in a king sized bed...Very hard yet comfortable mattress....I sleep well (that is when I can get to sleep) however, when I wake up in the morning is when I suffer...It feels like my back will split in two pieces...This is the time of day of my suffering...It''''s like I have to work it in and believe me, it is a chore...Yet I can lay there for hours before I fall asleep and get up to use the bathroom and I have no problem...I move without pain and am able to maneuver...Yet, give me 6 hours sleep and I hurt like the devil...It hurts to raise my body off of the bed...Gets better through the day, but I accept this as part of my life....

Whether this helps or hurts I just don''''t know...However, this is my experience and I thought I would write of it in case others have the same problems...Take care...
