Welcome to e health forum.

Answering specifically to your questions - chances of having infection with a single sexual encounter (with a positive female to a male) is about 0.04 % per act. This is actually very low to result in a actual infection.

But there are other infections which can be easily transmitted even by a single sexual encounter including - HPV (human papilloma virus), chlamydia, E coli infections, gonorrhea, hepatitis B and C, herpes simplex, syphilis, etc.

The risk of having HIV via single sexual intercourse from a infected person is very low to result in confirmed infection. The chances of you having HIV, is possible only when you have had unprotected sexual intercourse, multiple times with a HIV infected individual. Hence you should be careful before having intercourse with any person with unknown HIV status or not trustworthy.

In case, you think, you have been exposed to a possible HIV infected person, and you cannot confirm their HIV status, then the only way ahead would be to get a HIV test yourself.

You should consult with your doctor for a examination and seek appropriate advice.
