Half nipple inverted , lump under arm pit

I have a lump under my arm pit thats sore also half my nipple has inverted aswell what does this mean ad should i be worried i went to the doctor but he said he couldnt explain the nipple and that he was not sure if the lump was in the arm pit tissue or the breast tissue.

Lump in the armpit can be an enlarged lymph node, which happens in infections in its draining area. Inverted nipple, if noticed only recently, it needs to be attended immediately and an opinion from the doctor should be sought immediately. Please notice any associated symptoms like pain, redness, swelling beneath nipple or discharge. The swelling is more likely to be a lymph node and related to infection if it is painful, may need antibiotics. Thank you.
