Hey dear!

Welcome to e-health forum!

This seems to be male pattern baldness. There is a strong heredity link of the disease but its not exclusive. a person having no family history of male pattern baldness can have the condition and vice versa. Following are some recommended treatments

1) Multivitamin can some time prevent hair fall as vitamins are necessary for hair growth. there are some over the counter combination available which can be used as hair creams. For some people they work.

2) Minoxidil is different strength is also available over the counter in solution and spray forms and is very effective in male pattern hair fall.

3) if all these fails then transplant is the only effective way.

Hope it helped
