An expert will answer it well. My only 2 cents to this is, you are risking failure of your pancreas and liver.

Among other things, your pancreas has hormones that communicate with the liver in keeping your blood sugars in control. But if your liver which is a huge chemical factory - essential for digestion of fats, metabolism, detoxification, etc. start acting up severely, death typically occurs.

So, watch the alcohol intake.
