Getting Pregnant Answer A63856
Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

If this was the first time she has missed her periods, please ask your girlfriend to take a pregnancy test and see. If there was no ejaculation around the vagina or into it and there was no penetration of penis into vagina, then pregnancy is highly unlikely. Unless, of course, there was an episode of semen entering vagina which you don’t remember.

Another possible cause of missed period is that she remembers her date wrong. So, carefully analyze this. Let her take a pregnancy test and see. If it is negative, and she does not get her periods, repeat after a week. If it is still negative, and she doesn’t get her periods, please consult your healthcare provider for further guidance.

This reply to your query is just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit and treatment by a doctor who can examine you. Hope this helped you in making an informed decision about your health. Take care!
