Hi thanks very much for any advice!!
I have been bleeding in my stools for over 10 years sometimes with cramping before. Recently I've had exhaustion, brain fog, shortness of breath and new rectal pain with the bleeding and have been diagnosed with GERD and hemmaroids. Do I have a parasite or other problem?

Hello and thank you for posting your health query on E health Forum.

From the history provided here, you have been diagnosed with GERD and hemorrhoids.

The recent onset of fatigue, breathlessness could be signs of anemia due to iron deficiency.

The anorectal pain with bleeding indicate a wide range of problems ranging from anal fissures, pelvic infections, ano-rectal abscesses, etc.

Presence of loss of weight, and anal pruritus would indicate to parasitic infestation. But these symptoms are lacking in the history provided.

You might consider getting yourself examined by your physician, as well as getting few blood tests for evaluation of the anemia.

I hope you find my suggestion helpful.
