I occasionally feel aching around my jugular veins in my neck. It's on either side of the thyroid, but not the sternocleidomastoid muscle. It'll ache on occasion when I'm exhaling specifically. It's been off and on for about a year now. My doctor after simply looking at my neck last summer, told me there was likely nothing wrong. Any ideas what this may be? Could poor posture cause aching in this area of the neck?
