TIFFA scan is a fetal anomaly scan for detection of any gross or minor fetal abnormalities of the ones that can be diagnosed by ultrasound.It is better to get this scan done.
Regarding the gender determination if it is legal in your country you can discuss with your Healthcare Provider regarding this.
