Gallbladder Disease Answer A43505
Hello,
Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out.

Gall stones can block the normal flow of bile(secretion of gall bladder)and can obstruct any of the ducts leading to inflammation of gall bladder or of the ducts. It can further lead to other complications as cholangitis, jaundice or rupture. Since she is having an 11 mm gallstone, cholecystectomy should be done if she is having symptoms of pain.

If she is having symptomatic gall stones, then surgical removal of the gall bladder or cholecystectomy is the best treatment. It is done by two methods:open surgery and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Any good hospital in Delhi or Jharkhand can be approached and a good surgeon can be consulted.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
