FSH and Esrtadel levels are below normal ...

User Profile
Hi,
My FSH and Esrtadel levels are below normal (I tested them in summer after not having my monthly periods for 6 months). now, I have my monthly periods by always using cyproterone compound. I think if I stop cyproterone compound, my periods also stop. Can I become pregnant in future? What can I do to restore my FSH and Estradol hormons? Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
The low levels could indicate improper functioning of the pituitary-ovarian axis that controls the hormonal levels as well as your menstrual cycles and regularity. You should consider discussing about the cause for the low FSH and Estradiol levels with your treating gynecologist or take second opinion from an Endocrinologist about it and go ahead with further management (including investigations like complete hormonal analysis, MRI scan of brain, ultrasound scan, karyotyping test etc). Causes like ovarian failure, premature menopause and hypothalamic amenorrhea need to be ruled out.
Take care.
