Welcome to ehealthforum.
It is possible not to be aware of the pregnancy if the baby is small size and you do not have symptoms suggesting pregnancy. The abdominal distension and the nausea are very much mistaken for the bloating caused by gastritis. Some women are known get shocked when they actually land up into emergency for pain and find out that they are actually into labour process.
Abortion can be done upto 20 weeks gestation. After that it is dangerous. Babies can be delivered after 7th month (premature delivery), and they do well if provided adequate neonatal care. The premature delivery is usually not much of a problem since the baby is small. The baby’s condition should be monitored throughout the delivery process preferably with a neonatalologist present throughout the process.
Take care.
