Hello! I suffer from cold sores and have since I was about 10. I'm 25 now and they're more frequent than ever before, specifically within the last couple of months. I generally only get them in the winter and rarely in the summer. I had also always gotten it in the same spot but recently, I've been getting them on other places on my lip/under my nose. I just woke up with a new one today and I had just healed from one that I had gotten a week before Christmas. They've been happening closer and closer together and I'm incredibly frustrated, as well as worried. I used to only get a couple in the winter months but so far, I'd say I've had about seven since October.

I will say that I've been incredibly stressed and depressed so I'm not sure if that's a part of it. Up until the past week, I was working six days (35 - 50 hours a week, depending) with a very erratic sleep schedule. Because of that, I hadn't been eating as well as I usually try to, nor did I really have time to exercise. I was outside hiking/walking almost every day during the summer and felt wonderful. I don't get out nearly as much as I want to in the winter.

I'm in a serious relationship right now, and I can tell it also frustrates him to an extent. I started taking Lysine tablets after I read that people got them less frequently - it's only been a week and I already have another one. I just made an appointment with my doctor but I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else/ if anyone has any ideas as to why they keep happening so frequently?
