Had them for the last 15 years. 2 to 20 per minute. Few if I got my heart rate up to 100+ bpm. Tried magnesium, fish oil, hawthorn,... many Chinese formulas (they made the pvcs stronger).
What finally freed me of the PVCs was Taurine + L-carnitine + L-arginine (500 mg of each/day, improvements were seen in 2 wks, 99% of PVCs gone in 4wks.
Active 75-year-old male, hike, backpack, xc ski.

Premature ventricular contractions are better left untreated if there is no underlying cause that is associated with the above conditions ( electrolytes imbalance, ischemic heart disease and thyroid disorders). Treating EKG findings alone may lead to more harm and complications than benefit. PVCs associated even with myocardial infarction are best left alone and are not offered anti arrhythmic drugs.
