I have to frequently urinate.
I saw a list of foods that can irritate the bladder. The list was very long. :-(

Is it known why those food irritate the bladder?

Thanks.

Hello and welcome

I appreciate your concern

Each can have a different mechanism. All are not known completely. Most stimulants like coffee and tea increase the frequency and are well documented effects. Its likely to be a result of the effect on the lining of the bladder that leads to the urge to urinate more frequently.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
