There is a great deal of information available on the internet about this anti-fungal and anti-mould compound that is used to extend the shelf life of foods and cosmetics and to process certain wines.

It is considered harmless in carefully regulated amounts but opinions vary and some authorities consider its use detrimental to the immune system.

It probably does less harm than the increased amount of moulds, fungi and microbes in our diet would if it wasn't used.

I suggest you read the information and make your own mind up.
