Hello and welcome to EHF !

I went through your query and i want you to know that trans arterial chemoembolization has quite the complications and leaked medication is one of them. It may be due to partly procedure complication for which doctors cannot be blamed. Your hepatobiliary surgeon can answer it better here what caused the leak. It needs a complete clinical correlation to find out the possible cause.

Take care
