flesh colored Callous with a dimple in it

Is it true that calluses are less common on the fingers than on the feet? I have a lump on my left middle finger near the the tip that looks like a callous that is flesh colored but has a dimple in it

It is found in those areas which are subjected to more friction. Feet are more subjected to such friction and calluses can be found more often there as compared to the fingers. In labourers and farmers they can be found on the fingers. An image of the lesion should have been uploaded to see if it is indeed a callus or a keloid or something else.
