first depo shot a little over 2 weeks ago

User Profile
I had recieved my first depo shot a little over 2 weeks ago. I had recently started my cycle but it was early, the lightest and shortest I had ever had. Only lasting a couple days with mild to barely any cramps. Is this normal for the depo shot or should I take a pregnancy test in a couple weeks?

Welcome to this forum.
As such,Depo shot is well known for its excellent protection against unknown pregnancy. But the other fact is you may experience some form of irregular cycle, spotting or even slight or absent bleeding for a prolonged period of time.
This is actually coherently related to Depo and the lighter cycle is due to it.
However, you may do a pregnancy test if you think so.
