Hi, and thanks for your query on eHealth forum!

If you have been sexually active, then please take a pregnancy test and see. If you missed periods in Nov, and have very light bleed early December, then this could be due to pregnancy. The symptoms can also be due to birth control pills. These can at times cause period to stop and cause mid cycle spotting.

If you are not sexually active, then is it the first time you had this type of periods? If yes, then wait and watch your December period. At times periods vary without any known cause.

If you have these type of irregular periods, then please consult your healthcare provider for further guidance. You may need some tests to find the cause.

This reply to your query is just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit and treatment by a doctor who can examine you. Hope this helped you in making an informed decision about your health. Take care!
