Extremely eHealthy
Anisha, sexual exposure in the ten days before your period is due is not in the fertile window and will not cause pregnancy. The egg drops 14 days before the period and can be fertilized by sperm that day, five days before or one day after. Could the sexual excitement have messed with your hormones?

Welcome to e health forum.

If your cycles have been regular, then You symptoms could be associated with premenstrual syndrome. This is a very common condition which is associated with cyclic hormonal changes in the body at the time of the monthly cycles.

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) has a wide variety of symptoms, including emotional difficulties, mood swings, tender breasts, appetite changes, food cravings, fatigue, irritability, sleeplessness, body aches, weight gain due to fluid retention, abdominal bloating, etc.

In most cases the symptoms are very mild, and subside on their own without need for treatment. In case, they are bothering lifestyle changes including diet modification, being physically fit by regular exercising, stress reduction by proper sleep measures, breathing exercises and yoga might be helpful.
