I'm not sure what's wrong with me. Yesterday night I felt extremely tired and I had a huge headache and a bit of a fever. I thought it was because I had a long drive (12 hours driving to vacation) so I just took 2 aleves (which helped for about an hour or two with my headache) and went to bed early and when I woke up I felt a lot better so I went to the beach and the pool. When I got back to the hotel I began to feel sick again however I thought it might be allergies so I took allergy medicine and still went out to a boardwalk with my friends to not disappoint them. While we were on the board walk my fever got so bad I began to sweat however I was also freezing and had goosebumps. I have a terrible headache as well as being very dizzy and having body aches and I have a fever. I hate going to the doctors but plan to go if this continues when I get back home (I leave to go home on Sunday). Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.

Thank you for asking!
Fever with rigors and chills need a consult to a doctor nearby. It sounds like an infection. As you have recently travelled it also makes a person more prone to infection. If you have some urinary complaints like urgency and frequency and burning micturition then it may be a UTI. Get yourself assessed. Dizziness and fever can be treated meanwhile with acetaminophen and meclizine
take care
