Welcome to ehealthforum.
Sometimes the fetal cardiac activity takes longer time to get detected. Consider requesting for a repeat ultrasound scan (a transvaginal ultrasound scan) after 1 week or 10days to look for the fetal heart beat. Look out for danger signs like spotting, bleeding, abdominal cramps and report immediately to your gynecologist. A serial HCG level estimation with increasing levels (done every 48 – 72 hours) would also help to find out if the pregnancy is progressing well/smoothly.
Take care.
