My TSH is 0.11 and T4 is 21.8 - I have been taking 125 mg eltroxin for about 3 months, 100 before that, etc but levels are not getting better. Thyroid was always low to boaderline underactice and no meds but went very underactice when pregnant and have not recovered since - baby is 17 months. I had blood transfusions after c-section also? Worried as trying to get preg now and wondering is this why?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Thyroid disorders cannot get cured. You need to take medicine through out.But there is no problem if you try to conceive again while on medication.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
