Hi, i was in a motorcycle wreck last year and destroyed my femur. Snapped the femoral neck (hip) medial shaft snap with fragments, and fragmented the epicondyle. Had a rod, plate, and several screws put in it, and it has healed up quite well, however i am still having pain in my hip after light exercise and it seems to be worse in cold weather. Doc was talking like we might want to do a replacement after the other fractures are good and healed because we’ll have to remove some hardware. Last time i saw him he talked like it might be best if we didnt for all the possible risks of removing the hardware and doing a replacement. I’d like to know if you might still have arthritic pain in cold weather or before it rains.
