Feels like period but no blood

My body feels like I am on my period (which I am supposed to be right now) but there is no blood.I would just like to say that I am on birth control and I never have missed a day. I might have taken it 1 hour late but nothing too serious. I have been taking it for a year now and all of my periods have been the same. I am sexually active and we use a condom every time. Right now I should be ending my period and taking a new pack of birth control in 2 days. I have all of the usual symptoms cramps, bloated, ect. the only thing that is different is no blood is coming out. I have been wearing pads just in case and it looks like a little blood has come out but it is too light to tell if it is blood or not. I have not changed anything to my usual routine either. Does anyone know what this could be? I am also 21.

If you are stressed or worried, that can happen. It is also more common for women to stop experiencing withdrawal bleeding on some types of pills. Even a year down the line.

Congratulations on using condoms and the pill. There is zero chance that you can be pregnant. It is a very wise thing to do for your reproductive health as well as pregnancy prevention.

Start the next pack as scheduled. If you miss 3 periods in a row, see your doctor just to make sure everything is ok.

Take care
