If you have a fatty liver,Gallbladder Cyst, constant upper rt quadrant discomfort not pain.
Could any of these things be correlated with weight gain?

Yes, a fatty liver and gall stone , not gallbladder cysts is associated with a lipid overload. Metabolic syndrome can involve NAFLD (Non alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. GERD can also cause such right upper quadrant discomfort in addition to cholecystitis.
