Family’s history (please don’t judge).

As mentioned before, came from family where basically all of the females were pregnant at thirteen, the exceptions being mother at twelve by much older father ( please don’t judge, it was in fifties and in Colombia that was the norm), and own pregnancy at fourteen but had an abortion shortly afterwards, didn’t want to be like mother—married young and having a lot of kids with a much older controlling man. Parent’s marriage has affected own relationships with men. Dating pattern consisted of dating much older men because they had money or just gave a lot of attention. Now over fifty years old, with grown sons still living at home, and can’t help but to wonder that if mother had waited before becoming pregnant maybe life would have been different.
