Extreme Fatigue post gallbladder removal surgery

Hi,
I had gall bladder surgery 5 weeks ago. I am extremely tired ever since. I had no pain/side-effects related to surgery. Just extreme intolerable bouts of tiredness which doesnt seem to reduce with time. Blood tests are all fine. My gastro-enterologist said everything is fine and sent us home. Clueless where to go and what to do. Any suggestions?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Serum cortisol should be done to rule out addison
disease. Otherwise fatigue can be present after any procedure.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
