hello.I was wondering why do i have extra skin around my vagina? My cousins do not have extra skin on theirs. Also i find that i am very hairy. I have hair all over my body and mostly around my vagina area and i have hair around my nipples so i usually shave it off. Can you explain why i have a lot of hair on my body? Also when i have to pee i usually hold it in. When I go to school at 8:00am and i have to pee at 8:15am i would hold it until 3:00pm. Is this bad because i find that now i keep going to the bathroom a lot and only a little pee comes out and i have to keep going every few minutes. Also what should be the average weight for a 17 year old? I weight 150 pounds and i am 5'4. How can i lose this weight? And one more thing, i usually get this white fluid thing on my underwear whenever i feel horny. Is this bad? What does this mean? Thank you for all your help!

Hi,

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out. Firstly, regarding the ideal body weight for your height. It should be around 125 pounds and thus you’re definitely overweight. There’s no magic pill for losing weight. The best & assured way is to decrease your calorie intake and increase the exercise in the form of walking, swimming, cycling etc. Avoid fast food and have more of fruits and salads. You should consult a nutritionist for the same.

There’s a possibility of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) in your case as you have mentioned that you’re overweight and there’s excess hair growth. PCOS is diagnosed by blood tests like blood insulin levels, serum testosterone and androgen levels and ultrasound. Please do consult a gynaecologist for the same. I sincerely hope this information helps. Take care.
