Ever since I've started school I've been depressed

User Profile
Ever since I've started high school I've been depressed. It got more severe when I was in year 9. I used to skip school, refuse to go to school and get told off in class because I really don't care about my life. I don't know what I want to do in the future. I have friends but they aren't exactly the best impression of what you would call 'friends'. I've tried to tell my mum and she would tell me to stop being selfish or to grow up. I don't know how much longer I can take the lonliness I feel. I've been suicidal before and I even thought about taking my own life last week. I really need help but nobody is there for me because they don't understand my pain.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Its ok to feel tensed and depressed. All you need is some antidepressants and a psychotherapist to help you with your needs.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
