ENT nose surgery effects

Hi I went thru similar to u. I had a a septo rhinoplasty for a badly deviated septum with an ent surgeon. I put all my trust in him. Woke from the op few hrs later was ok but day after woke up ready to go home and had severe pain in my right lung they found i had got pneumonia from the op as they blamed it. They said i prob got it from the blood going down back of my throat and infecting my lung during the op. I was in hosp 3 wk and got pleurisy and fluid on my lung in this time.
To top it off i had my splint off my nose and it was so swollen. I left it thinking and hoping it would go down but my nose now looks worse than b4 and is wide and has one nostril bigger than other and lumps inside and the implant at the front holding it together has seperated leaving a dent in my nose.To be honest i thought the ent surgeon should not be able to rebuid somebodys nose and i think he re built it not knowing if he was doing it right and worked beyond his means. They refused to do cosmetic surgery on the nhs so i appealed and after persuadance they decided to accept me.
I am dur to see a cosmetic surgeon mr david dujon or mr lam in sheffield through the cosmetic surgeon of the nhs hospital in the northern general in sheffield. My left nostril has a pointy shape in and the other a round shape i am not sure they can fix this as he said something about it may not alter the shape of the nostril.
But i think if its something blocking ur iarways inside they can fix this an ent doctor.
I think i will need an ent doc too to be honest for the lumps inside my nose which i think are nasal polyps.

I've had the more or less the same problems, I had a septoplasty on the Nhs
It was fine but months on my profile has changed my nose tip has dropped giving me a whitchy look, developed a lump on the side of my nose
As well as a slight dip on the top bridge of my nose when I smile.
I have lost all confidence I've appealed 3 times for then to correct my nose but have been rejected. Could you tell me how did you manage to finally get them
to change their mind? Thanx x

Hello , its me nasir khan i m 23 year old.i m from Pakistan but now a days i m in KSA ( Kindom of Saudi Arabia ) dear sir before 4 months ago i was operation to my nose too many days blood come out from my nose day after day now Blood is stop not for every.
now a days i have big pain in my ear. i don,t know what can i do ? i can not eat any things. i can not talk very will. my mouth is going in crouse way.i have also pain in my nick.i was went to Doc in KSA jeddah he give me some Madic ciflox 500 mg tb . lorodoy drop.geuhouyn 10 mg tb.ghouyol norol drop.tab flofyl.tabigesic forte 500mg tb.Otosporin Drop. etc etc.
but i have still big Pain in my ear and hol mouth in right side . i was enter some thing in my ear for clean my ear..
now i don,t know what can i do Sir possible help me ...

Try Iranian doctors for the nose surgery they are well experienced doctors ! because this kind of surgery is vey common in Iran and a doctor normally do this surgery 5 times a day I know doctors in there who are having 10 surgeries per day !
And I'm a 17 years old boy from Australia.. I had my nose job when I was 16 in Iran.

I had surgery on my nose in UK for deviated septum, removing some tissue in nose linings and removing polyps after years of blocked nose problems. For a few days I recovered although the pain was terrible but now I am worse with problems with blocked ears and nose just as bad as before most of the time. Now they want me to have my ears done to unblock them but I do not trust them. And they seem to forget that the ears would need to be unblocked over and over again them. It would be like emptying a bucket that is full of water again soon.
