Enlarged breasts and nipples

User Profile
I have 2 questions
1.) Why do I have tender breast and larger nipples. Feel like I am gaining weight. Does this have any thing to do with my hysterectory, if so what other things may come along.
I just had a hysterectormy in late Nov.

2.) I have bleeding after I have a bowl movement.

You have not mentioned anything about how you got the scar. Weight gain and sore breasts are found in certain women after a hysterectomy and you should eat a healthy, nutritious diet and exercise regularly. Also, apply warm compresses on the breasts and consult your doctor if the pain is severe because your age is such that any symptom of breast malignancy has to be ruled out.

Regarding the blood in stools, it may be that there's a sort of injury or disorder located somewhere in your digestive tract. It can be due to piles, anal fissures, intestinal polyps, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulosis (diverticulosis causes significant bleeding), aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications and, polyps (small growths) and cancerous tumors (malignant growths of tissue). Diagnosis is by ultrasound of the abdomen. In certain cases a sigmoidoscopy and a colonoscopy may be needed.

I sincerely suggest that you consult a gastroenterologist for this. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For an exact diagnosis, you are advised to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
