Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
You get closer to your fertile days after finishing with your periods. For a regular menstrual cycle of 28-30 days, fertile days would be between day 6-18 taking day 1 as first day of bleeding. If semen or pre-cum has come in direct contact with vagina at anytime (after finishing your periods) then pregnancy can result (as sperms can stay alive for 3-4 days inside you, and if they meet the egg during this time, it will result in fertilization and pregnancy). If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any other new symptoms. Wait and watch for your periods. If you do not get your periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if you get abnormal periods, or if you develop symptoms suggestive of pregnancy, you should consider visiting your gynecologist for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
