Dx with enlarged prostate, feeling burning

User Profile
I have been diagnosed with enlarged prostate. I am currently feeling burning in my testicals and below them and lower back also after I urinate. I have been going through this on and off for about 8 months. It is getting very depressing and the doctor assures me it's just prostate and to change my diet. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Your doctor is right. Its enlargedprostate. You should start on prostate medications and along with it qvoid triggers like drinking, soda, beer, tea, coffee etc .

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
