Dreaming? mom is in her 70's and lives on her own

My mom is in her 70's and lives on her own.She called me this morning saying there was 2 little girls in her apartment just sitting there and wont talk to her. When i had gotten to her apartment, she said that she must have been dreaming. She said this has been going on for 3 weeks. She said the little girl is there everyday sitting on the floor looking at my moms magazines but never says a word to her. What does this mean? She also said what color of eyes the little girl has and hair and also says she is wearing a old dress from way back that was probably hand made. Mom cant describe the face. Today was the first time the little girl brought another little girl with her about 2 or 3 years younger than the original little girl that comes over. I need help with this please

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
These symptoms are consistent neurodegenerative disorder.I would suggest her MRI brain to sort out the problem.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
