Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

There is no cure for Parkinson but medications like levodopa are beneficial in the control of debilitating illness associated with the Parkinsonism. After such a surgery , one cant predict the outcome as a number of neurological deficits are possible and based upon the MRI findings you should discuss with your doctor what expectations you should have in mind after such an invasive surgery.

Wishing you best of health
