Early Pregnancy Signs and Symptoms Answer A40545
Welcome to ehealthforum,
FDA list of Category A and B are generally prescribed during pregnancy. The antibiotic prescribed to you (Erythromycin) falls within this category, so you can consider getting started on it. If the symptoms have not been controlled with home remedies, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist, or discuss your pregnancy status with your GP and get prescription for safe alternate antibiotics that can be used during pregnancy along with cough suppressants (if it is a dry cough). Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet.
Take care.
