does which day you start your birth control mater?

Ok so I'm really confused and irritated because I started my birth control like a week before my period was supposed to start soit's a week and a half off from when I would usually get it. I finished my pack and I took all my pills on time everyday and I started my sugar pills two days ago but I skipped it today and I want to know when am I supposed to start my period because I'm very anxious because my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex like 3 times during this first month of birth control But he always pulls put before he finishes but after he finished inside the condom we had unprotected sex and I think his cum was still on his penis. Someone please help ! Could I be pregnant??I've also been bleeding but it's been dark like brownish blood could this be old blood from my period I started my birth control on??

You get told to start birth control pill on the first day of your period so you know that you are not pregnant and you use condoms for the first 7-10 days to get the pill into your system.

As you've only jusst started on the pill, it will take a couple of months for your body to adjust and get into the swing of things again. You might experience withdrawl bleeding (bleeding in the middle of the month) late periods or spotting.

I would suggest you take a pregnancy test just to make sure you're not pregnant
