I'm having a lot of concerning health issues right now. I have Addison's Disease and hypogonadism primary as well as occasional thyroid dysfunction, yet my parents are pressuring me to put academics before my health time and time again. I've been feeling very tired to the point where I have started sleeping excessively (up to 11-12 hours a day). I am afraid for my health because of this and I cannot get my parents to understand that I need help, but they keep persuading me and additionally threatening me of the consequences if I don't do everything I can academically. I had to cancel my much needed appointment today to go to an academic obligation I have, so I am very upset and depressed about this.
