I've been reading this website as I've been waking up crying a lot recently, and it just doesn't seem to be stopping. However, I have been ill for about three years now with something the hospital still cannot name as they haven't diagnosed anything, I'm constantly on different medication and going in for different tests. Is this connected at all? Is the stress of the illness making me repress emotions? Help!

Thank you for asking!
Yes it does. chronic illness with no diagnosis is like hanging in the thin air waiting for the miracle. Stress and depression is very common in such cases. some times some rare presentation makes it difficult to diagnose. get a complete psychiatric rehab as some time what we try to find as organic cause turns out be a psychological.
get a psychiatrist and let them help you with your current status or psychology.
Meanwhile visit our stress anxiety and depression health centre for further guidance.
