Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you wish to get started on hormonal contraceptive shot, you should consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician for further evaluation and for getting HSG test (hysterosalpingogram test) done to look for patency of the fallopian tubes (spontaneous recanalization is a possibility). If they are patent, you can consider getting started on the Depo shot (after careful evaluation done by your gynecologist to see if it is suitable for you). If the tubes are found to be blocked (indicating that the tubal ligation is still in place), you need not get started on additional hormonal contraceptive for birth control.
Take care.
