I was on the depo shot for approximately one year. It wasn't something that worked well for my body, so when I was supposed to get my next shot they put me on Sprintec (I used this birth control pill when I was 16 for about two years and never had an issue). I'm supposed to be on my period right now because I'm on the sugar pills, but I haven't started it yet. I waited two weeks to have sex after starting the pill pack. Would it be a good idea to get a pregnancy test? Or is this because of the shot?

Depo can take up to 9 months to totally get out of your body according to the manufacturer. It is normal for women to not have their periods during most of that time.
