delaing period on Jolivette

I'm just starting Jolivette, but don't know how (if possible) to delay my period. The packet says that all the pills contain the same medicine (so there is no placebo week etc), so I'm a bit confused

I can't take estrogen pills, so apparently this is the only option, so any information at all would be great. Thanks!!!

You can't.

Pop's don't have any control over your period, it will come at it's regular cycle. If you want to control your period, you have to take something with estrogen in it. (That's not an option for some women, including me!!)

You can't . . .
You were right Georgia, I got ahold of my doctor finally, and it's not possible. Sad!

Sorry! I know, it sucks. I dealt with the same issue for quite a while.

jolivette ?
28 year old female with recent high blood pressure problems. I am being advised to get off of the combo pill and try jolivette for my blood pressure problem to see if it helps. I have not had kids, breast fed, etc. Most forums I find on the internet are new mothers taking jolivette. Ladies who might be on jolivette for other health conditions and have not had kids, I would love some input on how it has affected your lives!

Hi Bethanyhoney22,
I just started taking Jolivette a couple months ago (transitioned from Yaz to avoid taking estrogen). What I have found so far is my cycle is now erratic, didn't realize this was a side effect of the POP. I've never had kids either and have been told my blood pressure is high. Have you found that the Jolivette is helping to reduce your blood pressure?

I have been on it for 4 month now. If I take it at the SAME time daily I have NO period. If I mess up by more than 3 hours then I had a little spotting. My Doc said if I take it at the same time daily I will have no period because there is no placebo week.

jolivette / errin / norethindrone
that's the same thing that happened to me . i missed it one day and I've been spotting every since . its really disturbing and disgusting to me . if i known this before i started taking this medicine , i wouldn't have started taking it . its really disappointing to see spotting when you're on a birth control medicine that's supposed to stop your periods . i'm not even taking the medicine to prevent pregnancy , i'm taking it because i have a auto immune disorder . i never had problems with my period like this before taking this medicine . i hate it . if you're not ONE TIME taking the medicine everyday ... you will bleed .

Jolivette
After 3 depot shots and few weeks of patch, I was on put on Jolivette by my doctor. I took it for 2 years, never had a problem. My cycle was fine. I did not have to take it at the same time everyday. My doctor gave me a window: 7 pm to 11 pm. I stop in order to get pregnant. The only thing I was shocked to be pregnant the next week after getting off the pop. After I gave birth to my second child, I was recommended by my doctor:the combo pill Lutera. I did not know back then the difference between combo pills and pops. I did not like Lutera at all. Just recently I realize its side effects on me. I am going back to Jolivette after 4 years. This is my first pack again. Let give a try and see. sunny
