Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you had been sexually active without additional protection during the switchover of the contraceptive methods, then chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out. You are recommended to use additional protection for the first month of birth control switchover. Your symptoms (feeling sick, increased tiredness, dizziness, abdominal cramps, increased sleeping) could be suggestive of early pregnancy or response of body to hormonal content of the birth control pill. Wait and watch for your next periods. If suspect to be pregnant, look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further examination and evaluation.
Take care.
