7 days post her periods expected time?

My girlfriend and me indulged in unprotected sex through out the month of may post two week in the month of june on 11th she got her periods which was delayed by 2 days but lasted through her routine 3 days.. since then we did not have sex till date and now its been 7 days post her periods expected time .. is she pregnant

Some women can bleed for the normal duration but the period would be lighter than usual. So, yes, it is possible that the missed periods this time is due to pregnancy.
If your girlfriend has missed her periods then let her take a pregnancy test. If urine pregnancy test is negative then go for a blood pregnancy test. A blood HCG estimation test would be more reliable. If the test is negative then you are not pregnant. If it is borderline, repeat after 48 hours to see if the levels are rising. Rising and doubling levels indicate pregnancy.

If this too is negative then other causes of delayed or missed periods will have to be looked at such as ectopics (can give negative urine/HCG tests), stress whether emotional or physical, hypothyroidism, polycystic disease of the ovary, pituitary tumors secreting prolactin, anemia and poor diet, hormonal imbalance, unexplained or sudden weight gain or weight loss. You will need to consult a gynecologist for this. Hope this helps. Take care!
