It usually has a purple appearance and when I pop it blood comes out along with a little bit of white pus...I am concerned and need answers as to what it might be and what might be causing it? Welcome to ehealthforum.
Recurrence of cyst in same place along with pus and blood discharge indicates infection. Visit your gynecologist for thorough examination and tests done on discharge from it to identify causative agent and treat it effectively. Discuss about getting excision of the cyst done to prevent recurrence. If you are sexually active, get your partner also treated simultaneously to avoid chances of re-infection. Avoid use of old razor, use of harsh perfumes, soaps etc. Drink plenty of water. Keep the area dry and clean. Use loose cotton undergarments.
Take care.
