curious if I might be pregnant...

User Profile

For the past few days I have experienced what seems like it could be the flu but its not normal. I have been having trouble getting out of bed and have been extremely worn out. My head hurts on and off, my belly is sore, as in muscles around it, but not the flu type of feeling where i wanna puke everything up. I am on and off nauseated mostly at night when laying in bed. I have noticed my boobs are a little bit tender as my belly area is, and I have been kinda gassy. My fiance and I are sexually active but he always pulls out (which i still know you can get pregnant from anyways) and I am usually on BC, however I stopped this past month due to it making my back hurt worse on my periods. I had my period in the end of Nov and should be getting it soon. But I am curious if I might be pregnant or just be ill?

Welcome to ehealthforum.
Your symptoms of nausea, soreness in abdomen, sore breasts, bloated and gassy feeling, and tiredness are suggestive of pregnancy. Withdrawal method (pull out method) of contraception is associated with the highest failure rates so the possibility of pregnancy cannot be ruled out (you were not on BCP too). Look out for development of newer symptoms that could suggest pregnancy like fatigue, nausea, constipation, increased sleep, hunger and tiredness, mood changes, headaches, breast soreness, nipple sensitivity, blue veins on breasts, back pain, lower abdominal cramps, increased frequency of urine, pelvic discomfort and heaviness, food cravings, dizziness, increase in vaginal discharge. Go ahead with visit to your gynecologist for examination and tests (blood HCG levels) to confirm it. Urine pregnancy tests can show you false negative results (negative result even though you are pregnant) due to less concentration of pregnancy hormone (HCG) in urine.
Take care.
